Comfortable room with a spacious terrace, great power shower in the bathroom. Conveniently located near the Colosseum and Roman Forum. Breakfast, though not outstanding, is included and can be enjoyed in a peaceful garden before exploring the city. I would recommend this hotel.

The location was in walking distance of all major sites and train stations. Staff was very helpful and gave great recommendations. The room was air-conditioned and it worked great!!! I would only recommend this hotel cause of the location and the front desk staff who were awesome at there job.
The bed was a little to hard. The hotel was in the middle of getting renovated so the construction was very loud during the day transforming recently "hotel Richmond" to the now "Hotel De Rome". The only reason we were at the hotel during the day was due to my 1 1/2 year old son needing a nap. The hotel staff walked in our room uninvited 3 times while my family and I were in the room. The hotel staff and construction workers also came in our room while we were out, to work on the hotel construction. The floor was dirty and had wear shoes in the room to not blacken our socks. The bathroom door knob kept falling off of the door.

The best part was the good position from where you could see all parts of Rome and many of them were in a walking distance. Metro station was really close as well.
The phone was not working in the room. The breakfast was really poor.

This hotel is a hidden gem in the heart of the archaeological area, just opposite the Coliseum and within walking distance to all the main tourist attractions. The staff are friendly and attentive, providing excellent service and offering good restaurant recommendations. The rooms, although on the smaller side, are well-maintained with nice modern bathrooms. Additionally, the hotel offers basic amenities and the rooms with a nice view enhance the overall experience.
No improvements needed, everything was just right.

The hotel is located in a prime position, just at the bottom of Via Cavour and directly across from the Roman Forum with other top sites just a short walk away. Perfect location for airport transfers and close to Termini Station. the rooms are clean, comfortable and have sound-proof features with attentive and friendly staff. the breakfast terrace has some great views with great service, although the breakfast quality is just okay.
One of the rooms had no bathroom door which could lead to a flooded bathroom floor, but it was resolved easily with a towel.

Great breakfast and friendly staff, centrally located. Likes: the breakfast was delicious, and the staff was helpful and kind. the location was perfect for exploring the city.
Old furniture and lack of cleanliness. Dislikes: the room was poorly maintained with old, outdated furniture.

Great location Comfortable beds a good hotel, but not worth £150 a night and not a 4* at all However, location over-rides all small issues.
Shower leaks all over the floor (the reviews are correct) Breakfast really is pretty atrocious - and would be so easy to improve. Hundreds of tv channels, but only 1 cnn English speaking - how hard is it to get some BBBC/Sky or something??!? We saw a few of the rooms in the other part of the hotel (the Hotel Richmond - not quite sure how they're linked/one bought the other) and would not have wanted to be in one of those, very dark and old. Pillows are synthetic, which isn't 4* at all
